I was born in Karlshamn, growing up in Olofström, a small town in Blekinge, Sweden.
I took piano lessons from my grandmother at the age of 9. I learned some hymns and Swedish folksongs. She was a school teacher and a church musician by heart and profession and a better teacher couldn´t be found anywhere. Later my neighbor, who played the guitar, just across the street, showed me how to play the standards ”Alice In Wonderland” and ”Black Orpheus. We played these tunes together and this was really amazing!
